Improved Understanding of the Biology and Pathophysiology of the TME in PDAC Samples Revealed by Both InSituPlex and Imaging Mass Cytometry
This study combines InSituPlex® multiplex immunofluorescence with imaging mass cytometry to deeply profile pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tissues. Using whole-slide imaging, spatial segmentation, and phenotype clustering, the work reveals how immune, stromal, and epithelial cell states vary across tumor regions and correlate with PD-L1 expression. The integrated approach highlights key TME features driving PDAC progression and therapy resistance.
