Gene Expression Profiling, Digital Spatial Profiling and Multiplex Immunohistochemistry of the Tumor-Immune Microenvironment in HNSCC Tumors

This study combines NanoString gene expression profiling, digital spatial profiling, and Ultivue’s PD-L1 multiplex IF panel to map “Hot” vs. “Cold” HNSCC tumors. The multi-modal workflow reveals distinct inflammatory signatures and spatial patterns of T cells, macrophages, and PD-L1–positive tumor cells, offering a more precise view of the HNSCC immune microenvironment.
