Comparative multiplex digital phenotyping of the tumor microenvironment across multiple tumor types using a well characterized multi-tumor tissue microarray

A large multi-tumor TMA was profiled with an 8-plex InSituPlex® panel to map cytotoxic, exhausted, and PD-1⁺ T-cell phenotypes across 11 cancer types. Digital spatial analysis reveals sharp differences in immune infiltration, highlighting tumors where CTLs are enriched in stroma versus those where they penetrate tumor nests—offering a clearer view of how T-cell distribution shapes the tumor immune landscape.
