Visualizing the Future: Spacialomics Transforms Study of Gene Expression

Spatialomics is considered by many to be the next frontier in understanding gene expression. Earlier this year, Nature named spatially resolved transcriptomics—also known as spatialomics—the 2020 Method of the Year. This burgeoning new technology is the combination of tissue imaging and single-cell transcriptomic analysis, the full expression profile of messenger RNA (mRNA). The technique creates an entirely new type of scientific information.
